H.R. 87
Protecting Our Children from the CDC Act
In Plain Language
This bill prevents COVID-19 vaccines from being added to the recommended vaccine schedule for children and teens unless the CDC first publishes all safety and effectiveness data on its website. Right now, the CDC can recommend vaccines based on clinical data that may not be publicly available online. The bill requires that data to be transparent and accessible to the public before any COVID-19 vaccine gets on the childhood vaccination schedule.
