HB 222

AN ACT relating to planned communities.

In Plain Language

This bill updates Kentucky's law to say that all planned communities must follow the same state rules, even if their founding documents say otherwise. If a planned community's old rules conflict with state law, the state law wins.

Official summary

Amend KRS 381.800 to establish that the provisions apply to all planned communities and any provision in an existing document to the contrary is void; make technical correction.
