HB 481
AN ACT relating to kratom products.
In Plain Language
This bill removes the current ban on kratom extracts and products with high levels of a specific compound called 7-hydroxymitragynine. Products with more than 2 percent of this compound must still follow kratom labeling rules, but can't be labeled or sold as kratom products. These high-concentration products will be regulated by the Department for Public Health instead.
