HB 87

AN ACT relating to employment.

Authorities must create an application process and write policies for this by January 1, 2026, and report to the legislature by November 1, 2026. The bill also adds standards for deciding whether a conviction is directly related to a job or license, gives applicants the right to a hearing before a decision is made, and requires written explanations of the decision.
